The cooling water flow detector AQUALARM is unique and was developed specifically for the requirements in the maritime sector. It is even patented. It controls an audible and / or visual alarm emitter (optional). So any interruption of the cooling water influx is displayed (eg when a filter / water cock is clogged orwhen an impeller is defective, etc.). The AQUALARM is installed between the seawater strainer and the impeller in the seawater circulation and not only protects single-circuit-cooled motors from overheating, but also prevents existing dual-circuit cooling seawater pumps and exhaust system from getting damaged.
